Reliable and thorough

Purchased a Riccar vacuum from A One a year ago and the reset button began to trip when I turned off the unit. After a month or two the unit would shut down after 5 minutes of operation. Took it in two weeks ago to be looked at and they ordered a new reset button in addition to other parts. Other parts arrived but reset button is on back order for three months. They called and offered a new vacuum, not a loaner or a rental, a new vacuum under warranty. They have the filters and bags in stock unlike the shop where I purchased my first Riccar 20 years ago and has since changed hands where everything has to be ordered. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and service lives up to their name. Thank you guys at A-One.

I changed the star rating to 3 since this was a communication problem and not a technical problem. My husband called them to see if they could repair our old dyson vacuum which is making noises and needs to be refurbished. He asked if they work on and repair older Dyson machines and they said to bring it in. My husband made the 45 minute drive and once there the woman did not even plug it in and told told him “there is nothing wrong with it” and “Dyson aren’t made for carpets with pile”. So why did they make him drive all that way?The vacuum has been working fine on our carpet for many years. The problem we were having was a very noisy operation and too much suction. Maybe you need to ask more questions about Dysons when people call to save them a trip, My husband is very handy and he is taking it apart himself to replace filters and hopefully improve operation.
